Ella had really only talked about two things that she wanted for Christmas. She wanted a pink sparkly bike and a “jumpoline” (trampoline). One night we gave Ella a toy magazine and marker and asked her to circle some things that she might want mommy and daddy to get her. I think she circled every girl thing in the magazine and then started “writing notes” next to the items. It was so funny. At one point we had the following conversation:
Me: “Ella, you have told us that you want a bike and a trampoline.”
Ella: “Yes.”
Me: “Is there anything else that you might want? Maybe something mommy and daddy could get you.”
Ella: “Hmmm, diamonds!”
Haha!! A least the girl has good taste!
