Christmas Day was spent with lots of family! After having our time at home, we got ready and headed to McKinney to make a quick stop by my mom's side of the family. We didn't get to stay long, but at least we got to say hi, give hugs and say Merry Christmas.
Ella was intrigued by the new little puppy.
After spending a short time in McKinney, we headed to Cory's parents' house for the remainder of Christmas Day. It is so nice to find a place to park on the holidays so that we don't spend the whole day on the road!
Ella and Sarah having a little story time.
Kevin and Granddad. We were so happy that Granddad stayed in town for a few days. We got to spend great quality time with him.
Ashley doing what she does best! Yummy!
Cute girl!
Then we got into a silly face contest. Kevin.....
.......vs. Papa
We did a Dirty Santa gift exchange this year instead of drawing names.
There was a little bit of fighting over certain gifts. Haha!!
Picture time! We were still trying to figure out our new camera, so some of the pictures are darker than others.
Ella was so excited when it was time to open presents. She knew this big one had her name on it! (No worries, she was not put in any danger on the taking of this photo. I was tucked down behind her holding her up!)
Here we go!!
She had the cutest expression when the box was lifted up. I couldn't believe my eyes either!
Cory's brothers and dad made this amazing dress up station for Ella!! I had seen an idea on Pinterest and told Sarah about it. Sarah immediately said "Kevin and Kyle can build that!" Build that they did times 50!!! It was absolutely amazing! I got tears in my eyes when she opened it. Sarah, Ashley and JoAnn helped stock the dress up station with everything a little girl could want. From shoes, to tutus, to dresses, to jewelry....you name it and it was there.
Ella couldn't wait to try on different costumes. What was so cute is right after she opened the present, before she started looking at what all was inside, she ran over to everyone and gave them a hug and said "thank you". I thought that was so sweet.
Next outfit please! She loved that she could stand on it. How thoughtful of the guys to build it sturdy enough for her to hop up there to get a better look.
Those are our guys! Are they cute or what? Ella decided the guys could borrow some props for a picture.
Monkey see, monkey do!
Ella got a set of musical instruments, so JoJo and Sarah wanted to try them out.
Kyle secretly wanted to be part of the band too! Haha!!
What a great night of fun and family!!!!
