Florida - Day 4

Day 4 was filled with fun and excitement. The weather has been beautiful (a little hot at times but we just take a dip in the water to cool off.) Ella isn't real crazy about swimming out in the ocean but she will float with me for awhile and then head back to the sand.

Look at Ella's face.....isn't that true happiness?!

Ella loves to run back and forth on the beach. She heads toward the water with no fear, and doesn't mind the waves splashing around her.

Fun time on the beach

Taking a snack break...one of Ella's favorites!

This is a cool feature my new camera does.

Look at those chubby cheeks. So cute!

Another cool feature my camera does. The picture above is what Ella does when you ask her to show you her teeth.....she rubs her tongue on them.

Cory and I saw dolphins out past the sandbar and took the kayak out to them. It was absolutely an amazing experience. The dolphins were swimming all around us.......incredible!!

We just couldn't believe how close the dolphins would get to us. They are very curious creatures.

This picture cracks me up. Ella was covered in sand every time we brought her up from the beach, so we would strip her down and hose her off. She thought it was funny.

Ella having her own fruit chiller.

After showers and dinner, we headed out to the deck to watch the sunset.

Watching the sunset.
After the sunset, we decided to take a nice walk on the beach. (or so Momma Jo thought).....it soon turned in to a hilarious crab hunting adventure. Sarah and I were determined to hold one, so Kyle would catch them and then hand them off to us. Funny moments: Sarah when she held the crab, "I am woman!!!", she was so excited to do it. Me, when I was determined to catch one by myself and finally got one in my hands to soon chunk it across the beach because the snappers scared me. We laughed and laughed! The crabs were not kind.....they didn't really like the fact that we were trying to catch them, so they would raise their claws and just start snapping away. It was such a fun walk down the beach. I am a fan of crab hunting now!!
