Easter

We started our Easter weekend with a fun night of dying Easter eggs.  We had fun mixing the colors and adding stickers.

Saturday was spent at Granna and Pops with the Eubanks clan.  We got there a little early and Ella helped Pops fill bags with potting soil for a fun activity.

Aunt Beverly started this activity a few years ago.  Each kiddo gets their own pot to decorate.  After they decorate it with stickers, they get to plant a flower in it.

I love watching all the cousins have fun together!

We took a few family pictures before the Easter Egg Hunt.  Matthew and Theresa were in San Antonio. We missed them!

Our cousin clan keeps growing! I believe this was everyone except for Zachary.

Landry and Ella....aren't they cute?

Natalie and Ella.  They are such buddies!

"How many did you get?"

After the hunt it was time for confetti eggs!  The kids absolutely LOVE this part every year!

It had rained ALOT prior to the weekend.  This left a huge mud puddle out by the shop.  My cousins and I started talking about how much fun we had growing up and playing in the dirt when we went camping.  So I mentioned that it would be funny if the kids played in the mud puddle.  The kids thought it would be fun too (although some needed convincing.)  We told them they had to strip down to their underwear, which they thought was hilarious!!
The following is the Eubanks Clan's rendition of Duck Dynasty.

Ready.....set.....

GO!!!

I am not sure who had more fun....the kiddos or the adults watching. It was hilarious and brought back great childhood memories of how much fun my cousins and I had together growing up.  It was definitely a memory-making Easter!

Maggie even joined in the fun. She wasn't going to let the older kids show her up!

After mud racing, it was time to rinse off with a good old-fashioned outdoor shower.  Haha!!

Pardon the nakedness, but I want to capture this memory.  It has become a tradition that all the girls pile in Granna's tub at the end of the night and take a bath before putting on pjs for the ride home.

Ella got her Easter basket from Granna and Pops before we headed home.
She loves Peeps just like her momma!

Sunday morning started with seeing what the Easter Bunny left behind.

This year the Easter bunny hid eggs around the house for Ella to find.

Then it was time to head to church with Jojo and Papa for Easter Sunday.

We enjoyed the rest of  Easter Sunday hanging out at Papa and Jojo's house.  It was a great weekend of family and fun!
