Day 3...final walk! We have packed up our belongings, put them on the trailers, and taken down our tent. We are ready for our final day of the walk!
Memaw came out with mom to support us. They love finding a spot to set up some chairs and watch the walkers come through.
One of our last cheer spots is West End. It is really cool walking through and seeing so many people lined up!
Once we pass West End, we make our way through downtown Dallas. Our lunch spot is really close to the finish, so we stay there for a bit and rest our feet.

There it is.....the finish line!!!!
Woo hoo!!!!!! We made it!!
Sweet Ella and Cory brought me flowers and a balloon.
We head inside to welcome all the walkers as they come through.
We get our finish line shirts and take a picture in front of the sign.
Day 3.....60 miles.....and, yep, still smiling!!
After this, we head back outside to visit with our families as the rest of the walkers come through the finish line....and put on flip flops. Ahhh, they have never felt so good on my feet!
I am so grateful for the support of my family. It means so much that they come out to cheer on Team Hope Chest!!

Our whole crew! We are thankful for great husbands who are amazing fathers. Rebecca and I laugh because as much as we hurt on the walk, we love getting to go to bed at 9:00 for 2 nights! Haha!!
I say it every year and it is so true....the 3 Day Walk is truly an amazing and humbling experience. Rebecca and I hope that we are making a small difference in the lives of those that are fighting, will fight and have fought against this cancer.
