3 Day Walk for a Cure - Day 2

We are up and ready for day 2!  Still a chance of rain, so we left our tent covered.  Better safe than coming home to a wet tent and wet sleeping bags!

Breakfast has been eaten, now we get in line for the trail to open so we can get started.

People will paint anything pink to show their support!!

Mom was back to cheer us on!

Many people wear the names of those they are walking in memory of and in honor of.

By the end of the day, our feet are ready to be out of tennis shoes!

Cory and Ella Bella came out to show their support.  I love seeing my family along the way for a quick hug!

Sweep vans run for those that don't think they can make it any further.  They will drop them at the next pit stop.

Day 2.....40 total miles.....did it and still smiling!

We like to visit the memorial tent where there is a white tent to add names of those you are walking for.

Dinner...check, showers....check, now it is time to party!!  On the second night, they have a dance party at camp.  Believe it our not...it actually feels so good to move and jump around.  By this time, we are really really sore.  Who knew that walking could make you so sore, but everyone is hobbling around like they are 20 years older than they actually are.  Ha!
