Ella is now three weeks old! Time is going by so fast. :( Ella is growing every day and we are having so much fun watching her. I found a quote that sums up how Cory and I feel about our special girl: "A baby fills a place in your heart that you didn't know was empty." Our sweet pea has made our days brighter and our love deeper.
Here are some things Ella has been up to lately:
She has been hanging out with her friends Blaine and Maddie.
She tried out her new bumbo seat. She can hold her head up for about 5 - 10 seconds at a time.
These pictures are from a special event. There is a Wylie Police Officer who has a daughter with special needs. The community of Wylie is trying to get Extreme Home Makeover to come and build this family a new home that would better suit this child's disability. Many of the community members got together Friday to be a part of the application video. Ella was there too, although she slept through all of our chants of "Ty, Please build the Smith's a home and Build this house, build the house!" It was a special day and I am glad we were a part of it.
