River trip

This summer we took a trip with Granna and Pops to the river in New Braunfels.  We were so excited to stay at Lazy L&L Campground and had so much fun visiting with Margie and Rodney.

Ella couldn't wait to get in the water.  She kept testing the water to see if it was cold.

She decided to get a little further in the water.

....and then she couldn't resist.  She had to get in.  

Lazy L&L Campground has an amazing dance hall with bands that play on Friday and Saturday night. We headed down early so we could have some of the yummy dinner from the bar and grill.  

I love being at the campground.  The scenery is beautiful!!!

Ella was hilarious!  Once the music started, she never left the dance floor.  That's my girl!!

Whew!  We danced for hours and had the best time!!!  Cory, Ella and I had to call it quits around 11pm.  Mom and Dad helped close the place down and, of course, stayed for their traditional ice cream and conversation til wee hours in the morning with Rodney and Margie.

The next morning, we enjoyed breakfast burritos and then headed to the river for some fun!!

After a day of fun, we headed back for showers and then back down to the dance hall for dinner and more dancing.

I love Ella's purse.  It was a must have for the evening.

Becker and Ella dancing!  Becker (who is 6) had a blast until he looked over at us and asked "How old is she?" We told him 3 and he ran off.  Haha!!!

Cory and I were also celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary.  The band played "Brown Eyed Girl" and we had to replay our wedding dance.  :)

The next morning, we did it all over again!!  Yummy breakfast burritos and fun at the river was on the agenda!

After river floating this day, Cory and I got dressed to head to the San Antonio Riverwalk for our anniversary.

 We had so much fun walking the Riverwalk.

While we were enjoying ourselves, Granna, Pops, Ella, Margie and Rodney went to Gruene for dinner and ice cream.

Not sure how I missed a picture of Rodney this whole trip!!

Our last day was spent at Sea World.  I will do a separate post on that fun day.  Before heading back to Dallas, we took some fun pictures with Margie.  We love Margie!!!!

And of course, one last jump off the rock house!

 This is one of my very favorite places to be!!  We are so glad that we were able to take the trip with Granna and Pops.
