Cory's grandparents came in from Oklahoma to spend a couple of days with us for Christmas. We were so excited to see them!! They came in on Christmas Eve Eve and stayed til midday of Christmas Eve. JoAnn had put on some old home vidoes so it was fun to watch them with Grandma and Granddad.
This is Kyle as a snowman...cute!
Ella loves this Santa and Mrs. Claus at Phil and JoAnn's house. She likes to pull them in for hugs.
Annie (Kevin and Sarah's dog) was laying down and Ella thought she needed to be covered up. Haha! Annie is so great with Ella. She will let Ella lay on her, and give her hugs and kisses.
Jingle Bells with Grandma.
Doing a little rescue work with Poppa. There is a hole in the grout and Ella likes to put money in it. I also took this shot to get a picture of the adorable bloomers Ella has on. A sweet mom from my school bought them for her.
Here is Cory and Kyle playing in their chef hats they had gotten that Christmas. (Look for the chef hat again later in this post.)
This was a present from Grandma and Granddad. Ella was being so gentle opening it. She had the cutest expression as she began to see what was in it.
A 4-wheeler!!
It didn't take Ella long to figure out how to make the 4-wheeler go. Now....steering in the right direction.....that will take some practice!
Ella loved helping Grandma and Granddad open their presents.
Oh my!! Granddad and Grandma had given Ella an envelope with money it. Attached to the envelope was this huge candy bar. Of course, you know which part of the present Ella wanted!! She only got a few nibbles before I took it away. She loved it!!
We are so blessed!
It was finally time to open the "big present". Phil. Joann, Kyle, Ashley, Kevin and Sarah all went in together to buy Ella one big gift. I thought it was a great idea.
It was a kitchen!!! Ella was so excited when she saw what was under the box! I will post videos later of her reaction. Priceless!
Who can't have a kitchen without a cookbook! Ella's Aunt Rah-Rah (as Ella calls her) made this adorable cookbook full of Ella's favorite things to eat.
Is it obvious that she is a 1st grade teacher! Haha! I love how creative she is. She also made Ella an adorable apron.
Cookies and baking essentials from Aunt Ashley and Uncle Kyle. Such a perfect gift since noone bakes like Aunt Ashley! We love her yummy cookies!!
Sitrring up somethin' tasty.
Notice the chef hat is back! Uncle Kevin knew where to find it.
We did a fun gift exchange with the family. Everyone bought a gift card and we played Dirty Santa while opening them. There was a little bit of stealing that went on which made it fun. Kyle buried his gift card in jello and cat food (which is a take off the TV show The Office). I haven't watched the show so I was clueless, but everyone else thought it was hilarious!
