So, for Day 2 of skiing, we headed in to Breckenridge. We decided the night before to go ahead and try Ella in ski school. Cory and I headed in early to drop Ella off. It was awful!! I made Cory be the bad guy, because Ella's crying was too much. The ski school told me they would call if Ella didn't settle in. We never heard from them, so Cory and I decided to enjoy our day.
We started our day with a cup of coffee and the above scenes while waiting for the others to join us. Gonna be a great day!!
Such concentration. Maybe they were planning what runs to take. We had a great time skiing. We would ski run after run after run. Loved every minute of it!
So we knew that Ella was going to have a group lesson around 3:00. She had supposedly had a private lesson at 10:00 a.m. We didn't want to go to that one and take a chance on her seeing us. We skied down early to get a good spot for her group lesson. We got there around 2:45 and noticed she was already out there. We could tell that it was a private lesson. We later found out that she didn't want to go out earlier, so they finally got her out there that afternoon.
She still wasn't a big fan. She ended up seeing us and that was it. No group lesson for Ella. Haha! No biggie. She did have fun at ski school, and Cory and I had a great day of skiing. When she got over to us, we saw that her Special B was wrapped around her like a scarf. They said that was the only way she would come out to try skiing. Silly girl!!
We found a great table over at the warming hut, and enjoyed the amazing atmosphere, yummy drinks, and sunshine before heading home.
Fruit loops for a snack...sure, we are on vacation!!
Rah rah, Ella and Uncle Kevin (Kyle and Ashley were enjoying one more run!)
After dinner, we played some fun games around the table. Ella cracked us up because she would join in. She definitely pays attention even when you think she's not.
Later that evening there was a small accident. We had tried to have Ella sleep in the next room over on the bottom of bunk bed set. She woke up crying, so we put her in our bed. She moves around like crazy, so we let her have half of the bed. She feel off and hit her nose on the side table. It doesn't look too bad in the picture, but it was not a pretty sight. Poor girl!
