Team Hope Chest–Day 2

It was REALLY cold the morning of Day 2!  We were all walking a little funny and trying to stay warm.  Once we got moving all was better.

First pit stop of the day after everyone had their morning coffee.  Haha! 

Coming up on the 1st cheer station. 

I was capturing mom doing her thing. 

Sweet mom took our bulky jackets from the morning so we didn’t have to tote them all day.

Ahhh, rest and lunch.  There are no sodas til we get back to camp for dinner.  I get my caffeine fix from coffee, which Rebecca doesn’t like.  So when someone came up at lunch and said they were brought an extra Sonic drink, Rebecca gladly took them up on taking it!

Melodee’s family was at cheer station #2. I got a picture with one of my favorite students, Sam, which is also Melodee’s fabulous son.

Phil, JoAnn, Ella, Sarah and Kevin were so sweet to come and cheer on Team Hope Chest! 

Dad came to show is support too!

Thank goodness!  Day #2 is always the longest, so we are ready to see this sign by the end of the day.

Heading to dinner.

When the last camper is walking into camp, everyone goes out to cheer them in.  The walker brings a flag to raise signaling that everyone has made it back safely!
