Memorial Day at the lake!

We were SO excited to go to the lake this past weekend for Memorial Day. Cory got off work on Saturday morning and we headed up to Miss Molly! Cory's parents beat us there, Kevin and Sarah arrived soon after us and then my parents joined us too! We had such a great time hanging out and relaxing. It was really windy so we decided to put the ski boat back up and just had a great time on Miss Molly.

The play-doh brought many minutes (ok...maybe hours) of entertainment for Ella AND the adults.

Crazy driver alert!

Ella loved playing in this boat with her water toys. There wasn't a good beach area to go up to, so we just swam around. The water was freezing!

We met up with Matthew and Theresa who were staying with Preston and Katie. We hadn't seen Preston and Katie in a really long time. It was so nice to spend the afternoon with them.

Snack time!

Of course, Ella needed her shades. At one point, she hung them on the front of her shirt like she has seen her Daddy do. She cracks us up.

Ella and Sarah traded shades for a bit.

Ella and her Uncle Kevin chillin'.

Ella loved feeding the ducks that came up by the dock.

We also got to see our good friends Michelle, Ben and their boys Cory and Carter. Michelle was my college roommate who lives in Austin. Ben's parents have a lake house at Texoma and so we try to meet up when we are both there. We get to see them about once or twice a year. This is Ella and Cory. They are about a month and a half apart.

I asked Ella to pose for me and this is what I got!

The dance hands are looking good! :)

Man...the water was so cold but Ella really wanted in. Cory was helping his dad with the boat since it was so windy, so I had to get in with her. Once you were in, it was not so bad and we had lots of fun. It was the getting in that was hard!

This is Ella and Carter. Their expressions make me laugh.

Sweet sweet girl

A little cruise on our way back in to the dock. We had to leave Sunday because Cory and I both had to work on Monday. I am looking forward to many weekends at the lake this summer!
