Today was Ella's first visit to the zoo!! We headed over to the Fort Worth Zoo for a day of fun. Here is our day in pictures:
Set with sunglasses and sunscreen, Ella was ready to go!
Checking out the monkeys. She kept saying "mommy monkey and daddy monkey". She thought everything had a mommy and daddy....super cute!
Waving hi to the elephant:
She later thought the elephant was scary, saying "too big"!
After seeing the monkeys, elephants, and rhinos; we decided to stop for lunch.
Ella was also a little scared of the tigers.
I love her goofy expression in this picture.
Checking out the kangaroos.

I love this picture. This is Jason, Becky and Logan. We met Jason and Becky on our honeymoon cruise. They were on their honeymoon too. We haven't seen them since then (5 years ago) but have kept in touch. We just happened to both be going to the Fort Worth zoo today and met up! It was awesome to see them!!
Ella was so excited to see the penguins. She and Logan were checking them out.
More penguins outside.
"So, how you doin'?"

Ella looks like she is giggling....flirting already. (Really she was licking the cheese off her fingers from her snacks...haha!)
Ella also loved the aquariums or any of the cages that she could stand beside and see the animals right near her.
Cutie pie loving on the Komodo Dragon statue.
I love that it looks like she is having a conversation with him.
Now she's telling it like it is!
And we ended the night at Rain Forest Cafe, where Matthew, Theresa and my parents met us for dinner. We had not gotten together with them for mine and Cory's birthdays so we finally made plans for dinner. We hadn't been to Rain Forest Cafe and had a blast. Ella loved watching the monkeys when they started dancing. There was also an elephant that moved around, and everytime it did, Ella wanted to climb up in Uncle Matt's or Tesa's lap to see it. Pops and Granna had to take a backseat tonight because she was totally in to her Uncle Matt and Aunt Tesa.
Another great day of Spring Break!!!
