4 months old!

Ella is 4 months old! We went to the doctor on Monday and she weighed in at 14 pounds 10 ounces and was 24 1/2 inches tall. Dr. Mathieu said she looked great! She has hit all her appropriate milestones and we should start her on cereal. Ha Ha....easier said than done:

First, she looks at me as if she is saying: "Mom, what the heck are you feeding me and where is my bottle?"

And then she would push each bite out of her mouth to make it clear that she was NOT going to eat this stuff. :) We will try again tomorrow!

We got out Ella's new bathtub tonight. This is a blow up duckie where she can sit up, splash around, and play with toys. She had a blast! I love the duckie bathtub, except it says the water is hot when it really isn't. Oh well! Ella had so much fun and it was funny watching her splish splash around.

Other news:

We have just been hanging out! My college roommate came over today with her two little boys. Here is a picture of Ella and Corey...he is 2 months old.

This past weekend Uncle Jimmy held Ella. He has nicknames for all the kiddos....so Ella's nickname is Eller Mae. How cute! He always comes up to Ella and ask her if she still has soft ears, then tugs on her ear and says "Yep, you do!" He had not held Ella til this weekend. He has the funniset stories, so he was so cute telling them to Ella. Ella is so lucky and I can't wait for her to realize how special her Uncle Jimmy is!!

Well, that is all the updating for now. I am just in heaven getting to spend time with Ella. We are going to have a FUN summer!
